Here's exactly what happens when you visit Renew Implant Centre — from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out smiling.

You're welcomed in

You're welcomed in

Our reception team greets you by name. The clinic is clean, modern, and recently renovated — with a comfortable waiting area and complimentary coffee and refreshments for you and anyone who comes with you.

A real conversation, then a thorough assessment

A real conversation, then a thorough assessment

Tom sits down with you and listens. Then we take 3D scans and digital images of your teeth and jaw. Tom and Dr. Alex review everything together and explain what they see — in plain English, not clinical jargon.

Your plan and price

We walk you through the recommended treatment, the timeline, and one clear, all-inclusive price. You take the plan home, think about it, and decide at your own pace. There's no pressure to commit on the spot.

Before your procedure

Once you've decided to move forward, we schedule your treatment day. If you've chosen sedation, we'll give you instructions on preparation — what to eat, when to arrive, and who to bring as your ride home.

Treatment day

Dr. Alex places the implants, and Tom's team in the onsite lab designs and fits your new teeth — often in the same visit. You'll leave the clinic with teeth in your mouth. For most patients, this is the moment they say "I should have done this years ago."

Recovery and follow-up

Most patients manage recovery with over-the-counter medication and are back to soft foods within a day or two. Within a few months, once your implants have fully integrated, your permanent bridge is placed — and from there, it's just regular checkups.

What changes after your procedure

You eat what you want — steak, corn on the cob, apples. You stop thinking about your teeth. And you show up differently. Patients tell us it's more than just teeth: it's confidence, energy, and showing up for things they'd been avoiding.

A quick checklist for your consultation

Any X-rays or treatment plans from previous dentists. A list of medications you're currently taking. Your insurance card or CDCP information. A list of questions — seriously, write them down. A friend or family member, if you'd like the support. Don't worry if you don't have everything; we'll fill in the gaps together.

Don't take our word for it

I could not be happier with my experience with Renew! Tom and his staff are very knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They even went above and beyond for me during an emergency after-hours issue. If you are considering implants, I highly recommend Tom and his team.

Questions, answered

Is the consultation really free?

Yes, completely. There's no charge, no hidden assessment fee, and no obligation to move forward. We want you to have all the information you need to make the right decision — at your pace.

How long does the first visit take?

Plan for about 45 minutes to an hour. That gives us time to listen, scan, assess, and walk you through your options without rushing.

Do you accept insurance and the CDCP?

Yes. We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), all major insurance providers, and offer direct billing. We also have in-house financing options to help make treatment accessible.

What if I haven't seen a dentist in years?

You're in good company. Many of our patients haven't been to a dental office in years — sometimes decades. We never judge, we never lecture, and we never make you feel bad about where your teeth are right now.

Can I bring someone with me?

Absolutely. Many patients bring a spouse, a friend, or an adult child for moral support. They're welcome to sit in on the consultation and hear everything alongside you.
