Yes — in many cases you can walk in with failing or missing teeth and walk out the same day with a fixed temporary smile. The implants are placed, a temporary bridge is attached, and your final teeth are made once the implants have bonded with the bone. Whether it's right for you depends on your bone, gums, and overall health, which a 3D scan shows at your free consultation.
| Comparison category | Same-day (immediate) teeth | Staged plan |

Check if same-day teeth could fit youHow do same-day implants work?
The implants and a temporary set of teeth are placed in one visit. Traditionally, an implant is placed, the jaw heals around it for a few months, and then teeth are attached. With same-day implants, the temporary teeth go on right away, so you have a complete smile while the bone heals. The final bridge replaces the temporary once healing is complete.
Who may qualify for same-day teeth?
People with enough stable jawbone and healthy gums have the best chance. The implants must be firm on the day of surgery to carry a temporary bridge. Your surgeon checks your jawbone, gums, and overall oral health with a 3D scan before recommending it.

Why do people prefer same-day treatment?
Leaving with teeth the same day saves time and removes the stress of going without. Patients tell us it also helps them feel confident at work and with family during the healing months.
What should you expect after the visit?
Some soreness, swelling, or mild pain for a few days is normal. Soft foods make the first weeks more comfortable while the implants bond with the bone. Your team schedules follow-ups to check healing and adjust the temporary teeth.

When are one-day teeth not the right option?
When the bone is too thin, gum disease is active, or other treatment is needed first. In those cases a staged plan is safer, and it still ends with fixed teeth. The goal is the right result for the long term, not the fastest one.
Why Renew for same-day implants?
Same-day teeth depend on the lab. At Renew, the lab is in the same building, with a PM7 milling machine, Asiga digital printers, and 3Shape scanners, so your temporary bridge can be designed and made while you're here. Sedation is available if you'd rather sleep through the procedure.
What published studies time in the early weeks, and what they do not, is in All-on-4 recovery in the first weeks. Longer follow-up is in how long All-on-4 implants last. Sedation choices for the visit are in sedation for dental implant surgery. The visit sequence on this site is what to expect.

Frequently asked questions
Can you really get dental implants in one day?
In many cases, yes. The implants are placed and a temporary fixed bridge is attached the same day, so you leave with a full set of teeth. The final bridge is made a few months later, after healing.
Who is not a good candidate for same-day implants?
People with active gum disease, not enough bone to hold the implants firmly on day one, or other treatment needs may be better served by a staged plan. A 3D scan and exam at your consultation decide which approach is safer for you.
What can I eat after same-day implants?
Soft foods for the first weeks while the implants bond with the bone. Your team will give you a food guide and tell you when you can return to a normal diet.
Are same-day teeth permanent?
The same-day teeth are a temporary fixed bridge. After the implants have healed, they are replaced with your final bridge, designed and made in our onsite lab.
