What Is Included in an All-Inclusive Implant Quote?

What is included in dental implant cost here is listed on the pricing page. The dollar figure is given only after your consultation.

  • This clinic does not publish a price list. The number comes after a consultation.
  • The pricing page says one number covers the consult, 3D scans, sedation when it applies, in-house lab work, temporary teeth if needed, and follow-ups.
  • The Canadian Dental Care Plan excludes implants. Do not build the quote on an assumption that the plan pays for them.
  • A quote is a clinic document. This article does not invent a fee.

What does this clinic say is in the number?

The pricing page says every case is different: the teeth, the bone, and the restoration change the fee. It says you leave the free consultation with a complete price. It then lists what that one number covers: the free initial consultation, 3D scans and digital imaging, sedation when applicable, lab work designed and milled in the on-site lab, temporary teeth if needed, and follow-ups.[1]

That list is the clinic speaking about its own quote. It is not a fee schedule, and it is not a study. If a line on a quote you received elsewhere is missing from this list, ask. Do not treat this article as the invoice.

The hub for cost questions is pricing and financing. How a visit is sequenced is on what to expect. How dentures and implants differ, before you compare two quotes, is in dentures versus dental implants.

Why the plan does not fill in the implant line?

The Dental Benefits Guide excludes implants and all implant-related procedures, including dentures supported by implants, and says those exclusions are not eligible for reconsideration.[2] A quote for All-on-4 or for a denture on implants should not be written as if the plan pays that line. The longer explanation is does the Canadian Dental Care Plan cover dental implants.

The pricing page also says the office accepts the plan and major insurers and bills many claims directly.[1] Accepting the plan means the clinic can bill services the plan covers. It does not turn an excluded implant service into a covered one.

What should you ask before you compare quotes?

Ask what is in the number, what is extra, whether sedation is in or out, whether the temporary teeth are in or out, and whether the final prosthesis is made in that clinic's lab or sent out. Those are the lines this clinic's page says it folds into one number.[1] Another clinic can write a quote differently. Compare the lines, not a headline.

Tom Szarski, DD, is the denturist. The implant surgeon places the implants. The quote is a clinic document from the consultation, not a number this article is allowed to invent.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no price on this page?

The clinic's pricing page says the case changes the fee: teeth, bone, and the restoration. The number is given at the free consultation. This article does not add a fee the clinic has not published.

What does the clinic say one number includes?

The pricing page says one number covers the free initial consultation, 3D scans and digital imaging, sedation when applicable, lab work in the on-site lab, temporary teeth if needed, and follow-ups.

Will the Canadian Dental Care Plan pay the implant quote?

Do not assume that. The Dental Benefits Guide excludes implants and implant-related procedures, including dentures supported by implants. Read the CDCP article before you subtract a plan payment from an implant quote.
